Ursula Paludan Monberg – horn

Ursula Paludan Monberg (born in 1982) started playing the horn at the age of 10 and later studied in London at the Royal Academy of Music with Mark Smith. Her interest for natural horn led her to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and then again the Royal Academy of Music in Andrew Clark’s class where she gets her diploma in 2005. At the same time she followed the courses of Saintes Formation Supérieure with Claude Maury.
Ursula Paludan Monberg plays first horn in Concerto Copenhagen since 2007 and regularly performs with other prestigious ensembles such as The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, l’Orchestre des Champs Elysées, New London Consort or Arte dei Suonatori.
